I have so many emo things to say right now. X-Files. I cannot EVEN believe I will be seeing new X-Files tonight. Six years ago, I watched a huge chapter in the book of my life come to an end. The last sentence on the very last page was "Maybe there's hope." When I was down in my bedroom crying, I never would have THOUGHT that YEARS down the line, I'd be IN line, in New York, to see my life return to the screen. I have never seen these characters so big, so beautiful, and I've never experienced them in a theater full of countless other fans. I just cannot even BELIEVE this right now! Six years! And it's fucking BACK!
I have TOO much to say. It's so much more than a show to me. So much more. It IS me, it is my childhood, my adolescence, my friends, my family, my morals, my interest, my art, my passion, my lessons, my questions, my breath, my blood, my everything that I am today.
I can't even believe I get to go back there. It's a second chance that a lot of people don't get with their shows and my god I can't even BELIEVE what a gift this is. To be able to go back, as an adult, six years later and wiser and be able to experience it again, as new. It's just something I'll never get over, I don't think.
